All passengers taking inbound flights to China from overseas will be required to have a nucleic acid test within five days before their flights in an effort to curb the cross-border spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of international travel, said the country's top civil aviation regulator.

中国最高民航监管部门表示，为确保国际旅行健康安全，降低疫情跨境传播风险，搭乘航班来华的乘客需在登机前5天内完成核酸检测。

周二，民航局（Civil Aviation Administration of China）、海关总署（General Administration of Customs）、外交部联合发布公告表示，搭乘来华航班的中、外籍乘客（overseas travelers）需在中国驻外使馆指定或认可的医疗机构（medical institutions）进行核酸检测（take the nucleic acid test）。
公告指出，中国籍（Chinese citizens）乘客要通过防疫（epidemic prevention）健康码国际版小程序拍照（take photos）上传核酸检测阴性证明（upload the nucleic acid test results）。外国籍乘客凭核酸检测阴性证明（negative test result）向中国使领馆（Chinese embassy）申办健康状况声明书（apply for a declaration of health status）。
有关航空公司（airlines）负责在登机前查验健康码状态（check the health QR code）和健康状况声明书（health declaration）。不符合相关要求的乘客不能登机（denied boarding）。各航空公司应严格履行查验手续。
公告说，乘客提供虚假证明和信息（false certificates and information），须承担相应法律责任（bear the corresponding legal liabilities）。
