1.“hold on”在口语中有三种常用的意思:一、表示“稍等一会儿,稍等,等一下”,例如:Hold on; I'll just get my coat.(稍等一下,我去拿一下外套。)二、用于刚刚注意到、听到或想起某件事情时,也可译为“等一下”,例如: Hold on! Isn't that your brother's car over there?(等一下!那边那辆车不是你哥哥的吗?)三、在电话用语中表示叫对方“稍等一下,别挂断”,例如:Can you hold on? I'll try to find her.(您能稍等一下吗?我去找找她。)[qh]
2.“full”在此意为“浓郁的,浓烈的”,指酒时,相当于“full-bodied”。[qh]
3.“take care of sth.”在这里表示“做或处理某事”,例如:Her secretary always took care of the details.(一直是她的秘书处理细节的事情。)另外,还可以表示“支付(某物)”,例如:We'll take care of the fees.(我们来付费。)“take care of sb./sth.”最常用的意思为“照顾某人(或某物)”,例如:Who will take care of the dog while you're away?(你不在的时候谁来照顾狗?)[qh]

宾馆服务人员在给客人送餐时需要注意以下事项:[qh]
①使用饭店规定的专用电梯进行送餐服务。[qh]
②核对房间号、送餐时间。[qh]
③敲门三下或按门铃,并说明送餐服务已到,英文为:“Room Service”。在征得客人同意后,方可进入房间。[qh]
④客人开门后主动问好,并请示客人是否可以进入,例如:“早上好,下午好,晚上好,先生,女士,送餐服务。请问可以进去吗?”( Good morning/afternoon/evening, Sir/Madam, Room Service. May I come in?[qh]
⑤进入房间后,询问客人餐车或托盘放在哪里,例如:“请问先生,女士,餐车,托盘放在哪里?” ( Excuse me,Sir/Madam.where can I set the trolley/put the tray? )[qh]
⑥按规定摆好餐具及其他物品后,请客人用餐,并为客人拉出椅子。[qh]
⑦餐间为客人倒茶或咖啡,及提供各种需要的其他服务。[qh]
⑧请客人在账单上签字,为客人指出签字处,并核清签名、房号(或收取现金),例如:“请您在这里签上您的姓名和房号。”(Sign your name and room number here, please. )[qh]
⑨询问客人有没有其他需要,如没有,即礼貌地向客人道别。[qh]
⑩离开客房时,应面朝客人后退三步,然后转身,出房时随手轻轻关上房门。[qh]
