Are you there?
用：电话上沉默了一会儿后， （如一方在核对东西，或在找人或被别人叫走一会儿等）再呼叫时的用语。
意：喂，你在听吗？
例.A:Hello, are you there? Wcll,I can't find the contract now. Can you gct back to me in hAlf an hour?
喂，你在听吗？嗯，我现在找不到那份合同，你半小时后再给我来
电可以吗？
B：Allright，thanks!
好吧，多谢！

用：指对别人说的话不表示同情，是一种不满、不服气的态度。
意：大家都一样；谁不是！
例.A:All the old guy wants is gold and silver,and a beautiful woman.
老家伙想要的是金子、银子，还有漂亮的女人！
B：Don't we all!
这些谁都想要！
A: Don't bother Greg. He's quite busy at this moment.
别打扰格雷格，他这会儿很忙。
B: Aren't we alll l wouldn't, if he were not the supervisor!
诳不忙！他要不是厂监我才不找他呢！
A: No, he can’t do it at once. He's been running the machine for many hours.
不行，他不能马上做，他开那台机器好几个小时没停了。
B: Haven't we aU?I haven't had a chance to shut my eyes in the last 14 hours!

用：表示对别人的建议、陈述、解释的不满。有时可单独使用As if!
意：不赞同、气愤、怀疑、不相信（具体译文根据上下文而定）

as+形容词+as anything
用：这个短语也可说 you Iike。
意：非常；相当；很容易就…；…跟什么似的
例.I could climb up that tree as easy as anything.
我可以很容易就爬上那棵树。
It was only a small gift,but she was as pleased as anything with it.
那只是个小礼物，可她高兴得跟什么似的。
“Get away, it's not your dog and you're not my daddy!”the boy said as rude as you like．
