about
(and)about time
用：用来表示某人早该做某事，或某事早该做而拖延至今。
注：早就该了…了；也该…了；是（该）…的时候了。这个短语既可单独
使用，也可用在it is，was之后。
例：A: Julia and Mark got married last week.
朱丽娅扣马克上星期结婚了。
B: About time, too! They've known each other for so many years.
他们也该结婚了，都认识了那么多年了！
It's about time you had your hair cut.
你早就该理发了!
be about to+动词
用：这个句式在口语中用来表示将作(打算做、将从事)某事。有时在正
式场合使用。
例：okay, I'm about to 1ea}e. See you on Monday!
好.我要走啦。星期一见!

Be quick about it
用：大人对小孩，工头等对工人、属下的命令口气用语。
应：快点干!干快些!别磨蹭!

How （what)一about... ?
用：这是口语中常用的句式，在下面S种场合下使用:
〔1）提建议时用：一好吗?…怎么样?一好不好?
例：What about a Wednesday?
找一个星期三怎么样?
How about another song, children?
孩子们，再唱支歌好不好?
How about letting Bill try it?
让比尔试试好吗?
注：作为提建议的用语.我们还可以说Haw would you十动词，或者How's about+名词或动名词。
②征求别人意见时
意：你看…怎么样啊?
例：Haw about ringing tonight?
今晚给吉姆打电话怎么样?

坐在窗子那儿怎么样?
③用来询问情况，打听消息.
意：…怎么样了?…呢?
