再过一段时间，哈尔滨市民李艳韬就可以入住购买的新房了。本来这是一件让人高兴的事儿，可李艳韬每次和朋友们谈起他的房子，都会让朋友一顿讽刺挖苦。朋友挖苦李艳韬，是因为他新房楼梯间的窗户竟然是画上去的。

Property developers promising one thing and delivering something else is not uncommon. But what is not common is this: A home owner discovered that the windows on the building's staircase were hand-drawn images, reported Heilongjiang Network and Broadcasting Television on Wednesday.

房地产开发商承诺的事情和兑现的事情不一致是常见的事。但是下面这件事却并不常见：据黑龙江网络广播电视台周三报道，一名房主发现所买房子楼梯间的窗户是画上去的。

property developer是房地产开发商；home owner是房主。
今年3月份，哈尔滨市民李艳韬买了一套期房。上个月，楼房的施工临近尾声（construction of building was near completed），李艳韬突然发现自家这栋房子有些不对劲，整栋楼各个楼层的楼梯间都没有窗户（no window in the staircase of the building）。过了几天，大楼外墙画上了假窗户（fake windows were painted on the wall），这让李艳韬难以接受（unacceptable）。
李艳韬表示，窗户画得跟真的一样，水平没得说，可自己心里特别扭。以后住进去，楼梯间没有窗户（have no window in the staircase），采光（daylighting）就会受到影响，楼梯间非常暗（dark），心情（mood）也会跟着大打折扣。
开发商表示，这栋居民楼（residential building）采用的是机械加压通风（mechanical compression for ventilation），不是自然通风（natural ventilation），所以楼梯间就没有窗户。而在外墙画上窗户（the painted windows）则是为了让楼房在外形上与效果图（blueprint）更接近。
