Even though by now Most of us understand that being a parent is not as beautiful as it seems, it’s impossible to understand the struggles of having kids until you actually have them. So, Weng Chen, an illustrator that goes by the name The Messycow, has decided to draw entertaining illustration series that show how her husband has changed after he became a parent himself.
为人父母是一件“看上去很美”的事情，这是大多数人都知道的，但除非你自己有了孩子，否则你永远不会懂得养育孩子的辛苦折磨。所以一个名叫陈文（音译）的插画家决定以Messycow的网名创作一系列风趣的插图，展示一下她的丈夫变成奶爸后发生的变化。
She’s been drawing since she was only 2 years old and it always remained an important part of her life. These particular illustration series took only a few days to draw, “I don’t have big chunks of time to work, it’s always a couple hours in between chores and taking care of the kids”, Weng said. She adds that parenting and family life is a prominent topic in her work, “It’s fun and meaningful to document my children’s growth, as well as mine.”
她从两岁起就开始学画画，直到现在，作画都是她生活中一个重要的部分。这组妙趣的插图她只花了数日就完成了。陈文说道，“我没有太多的时间用于工作，只有做家务活和照顾孩子们的间隙里的短短几个小时时间。”她还说，照顾孩子和家庭生活是她插画作品最主要的主题。“用这种方式记录下孩子们的成长过程，以及我自己的成长过程，这很有趣，也很有意义。”
