马航失联客机上有两名华为员工

Chinese telecommunications equipment supplier Huawei Technologies Co. said two of its employees are among the 239 passengers on board the Malaysia Airlines flight that went missing over the weekend.

中国电信设备供应商华为技术有限公司(Huawei Technologies Co.)说，马来西亚航空公司(Malaysia Airlines，简称：马航)上周末失踪的那架航班上有其两名员工。该航班共载有239人。

'We are in very close contact with Malaysia Airlines and the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia,' said a Huawei spokeswoman who works at the company's headquarters in Shenzhen, China. 'Everyone here is very concerned and we are all watching the news,' she said.

华为发言人在公司总部深圳说，华为正与马航和中国驻马来西亚大使馆保持密切联系。她说，公司所有人都极为关注此事，大家都在看新闻。

The spokeswoman said that the two employees are Chinese, but did not identify them by name or provide further details.

According to the passenger list released by the airline, just over half of the passengers on flight MH370 are Chinese citizens. The Boeing 777 jet vanished in the early morning hours on Saturday over the South China Sea. A massive, multination search for the plane is ongoing.
