The Chinese mainland plans to drop the entry permit requirement for Taiwan residents visiting the mainland, top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng said Sunday. Yu made the announcement at the Straits Forum in Xiamen, Fujian, as he promised to create better conditions for cross-Straits exchanges.
