英语中否定式的注意要点讲解

编者按：英语的否定式中否定词not常常放在谓语中第1个动词(助动词或者系动词、情态动词)的后面。下面小编就来带你一起学习下否定式的注意要点，希望对大家有帮助。

下面请看否定式的一些注意要点：

　　1.由于动词型的现在一般时中没有助动词，变成否定式时必须加上一个助动词do(遇到第三人称单数用does)

We do not eat snakes.

我们不吃蛇。

She does not speak Cantonese.

她不会说广东话。

同理，动词型过去一般时中也没有助动词，变成否定式时必须加上一个助动词did：

They did not keep their promise.

他们没有遵守诺言。

He did not cry.

他没有哭。

　　2.当谓语中第一个动词是情态动词时，not同样放在该情态动词后面

肯定式：I can tell you the truth.

我能够把实情告诉你。

否定式：I can not tell you the truth.

我不能把实情告诉你。

肯定式：You must do it.

你必须做。

否定式：You must not do it.

你不能做。

　　3.助动词(系动词、情态动词)与not在口语里常缩成一个单词

aren’t，isn’t

don’t，doesn’t，didn’t

wouldn’t，shouldn’t，can’t，couldn’t

hasn’t，haven’t，hadn’t

won’t = will not，shan’t = shall not

注意：

ain’t在美式英语中常用，但是不规范，代替am not, is not, arenot, has not, have not。读作[eint]。

例句：

If you think thatyou are not rich, then you are not.【找谁依靠】

如果你认为自己不富裕，那你确实不富裕。

It was Mother-she did not love Daddy and shedid not love me.【爱情与金钱】

就是妈妈——她不爱爸爸，也不爱我。

but they would not be our world and they would not have our history.【TED演讲】

毫无疑问，它们会很惊人，令人感到不可能的惊人。

She had not told him. At the last moment she had not been brave enough.【德伯家的苔丝】

她还是没有告诉他。在这最后时刻，她失去了足够的勇气。
