[误] The concert was a great success. I saw the news on the paper yesterday.

[正] The concert was a great success. I saw the news in the paper yesterday.

注：“登在报上”应用 in a newspaper，而“写在纸上”则用 on paper。注意，paper 前没有冠词。如：Please put the notes on paper（请把笔记记在纸上）。
