小噱头：狂妄的音乐剧女王

剧情引导：就在Troy带着Gabriella参观校园的时候，半路杀出来一个着装时尚的女生，这就是学校里出了名儿的冰山皇后Sharpay。她同自己的弟弟Ryan向来都是学校音乐剧的不二人选……

Sharpay: Oh, were you going to sign up too? My brother and I have starred in all the school's productions and we really welcome newcomers. There are a lot of supporting roles. I'm sure we could find something for you.
Gabriella: No, no, no, I was just looking at all the bulletin boards. Lots going on at this school, Wow. Nice penmanship.
Sharpay: So, Troy, I missed you during vacation. What'd you do?
Troy: You know, um... played basketball, snowboarding, more basketball.
Sharpay: When's the big game?
Troy: Two weeks.

特洛伊：你知道，嗯……打篮球，滑雪，还是篮球。

【口语解说】

Toodles

以前还真没听过toodles这一说法，居然是“再见”的意思，多用于女性或者什么头面人物。（Sharpay当然觉得自己是女性头面人物啦……）至于来源，应该是英式英语，可能是来自于"toot"这个名词，那是表示小号吹出来的声音。猜想是舞会最后一支舞曲的终结？还有一个说法，说大概是源自于“I'm off 'to the loo'.”
