【讲解】
To draft someone into the army就是“征某人入伍”，“应征入伍”自然就是be/get drafted into the army。新闻报道中常用winter conscription来表示“冬季征兵”，应征入伍的人叫conscripts。

从高校招募的students-turned compulsory servicemen（大学生义务兵）均可享受一定的preferential policies（优惠政策），包括compensation to college tuition fees（补偿学费）、free vocational education for demobilized soldiers（退役后免费职业教育）等。退役后还统一发放gratuity（退役金）。
