get round 说服（某人）听其主张

get round sb. = get around sb.,意思是"说服 某人同意或做其原来反对的亊情”。这是一 种非正规的用法，往往出现在口语中。例如:She knows how to get round her father.(她知道怎么哄她爸爸同意。）

A:What's your plan for this winter vacation?

B:I'm going skiing in the Alps.
